GIL Express and Interlibrary Loan

GIL Express and Interlibrary Loan

Requesting Books

GIL Express and Interlibrary Loan are services provided to EGSC faculty, staff and students that allow them to borrow library materials from other libraries.

GIL Express allows patrons to request material in the GIL-Find@USG catalog (a shared catalog of the University System of Georgia libraries). It is a transaction between the patron and the other library. This service is always free.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) allows librarians to request materials for patrons from any U.S. library. It is a transaction between libraries. This service is almost always free.

For more information on GIL Express or Interlibrary Loan, please contact the library at (478) 289-2083 or library@ega.edu.
