Temporary Library Resources Offered During COVID-19

During this difficult time several of our content providers have offered extended of free access to their resources.

EBSCO and partners are offering the following services during this difficult time:

  1. To help with putting all courses online and save students textbooks costs: FREE version of EBSCO's Faculty Select,  a time-saving way to find OERs. Content from 5 platforms (BCcampus OpenEd, OAPEN, OPEN SUNY Textbooks, Open Textbook Library, and 80% of OpenStax). Go here to start searching. 
  2. EBSCO/Dynamed (health science) COVID-19 resource center with animation of pandemic spread since onset.  
  3. For medical/health science community

EBSCO has also upgraded several of the databases that we purchase through them for the remainder of the school year. (These can all be found through the GALILEO database search)

  • A growing set of ebooks from scholarly publishers, all with unlimited, DRM-free access and a familiar user experience on JSTOR

Note that all content listed above is cross-searchable on JSTOR.org, with the exception of World Heritage Sites: Africa and Global Plants, which are available on their dedicated platforms.

JSTOR also offers a free set of resources on remote teaching, including tools for finding and organizing course content, articles on online learning and tips to share with students.
