Finding Jobs & Career Information
Types of Resumes
There are several different types of resume styles. Three of the most common ones are:
Best for people with lots of (consistent!) work-history
Best for people with little work experience (like students, or new graduates).
Best for mid-level candidates. Not a beginner but not an expert.
Very easy to skim, employers love that!
Also good for those seeking a career change.
A good balance of the other two types.
Be careful: not to highlight any gaps in your work history.
Be careful: to highlight your skills properly.
Be careful: Not to make it too long!
