The GIL Universal Catalog is a single database of materials owned by all of the libraries in the University System of Georgia. If a book that you want to request cannot be found in the Zach S. Henderson Library at Georgia Southern University, try searching for it in the GILUC. When you find the title that you would like to request, click on the the GIL Express Request link at the top of the screen and fill out the form to complete the request. You can request all types of books through the GILUC, not just those that are academic in nature, such as popular reading materials and new release books.
**NOTE** You need to login as an East Georgia State College Student using your EGSC student ID number, but make sure that you select the pick-up location as Georgia Southern University. If you do not change the pick-up location to GSU, then the books will be delivered to the EGSC campus in Swainsboro. Once you have chosen the correct pick-up location, books will be delivered from other University System of Georgia institutions to the GSU Library for you to check out.
